mood - zack’s piano cover
My good friend Zack sent me this lovely piano version of my song “Mood” from the album “Momentarily Bewitched”. It made me cry. Anytime friends or people send me covers of my songs (it’s happened a handful of times), it affects me on a very deep level. To me, it’s the ultimate gift. The song was originally written on acoustic guitar, but Zack’s version makes me wish I transcribed it for piano. Doesn’t everything sound better on piano though? I’m leaving Zack’s surname off this video to protect his privacy….especially since he’s a defense attorney in Detroit. lol

This was a live backyard performance of “The Walk Man” for Galerie Camille’s “Come Together” songwriter showcase, curated by Jeff Milo. It aired on Feb.20, 2021 via Youtube, and included a handful of songwriters from the Detroit-area performing in quarantine.
