For over twenty years, Masson has built a wide range of professional experience in visual, audio, and written communications. When he’s not writing, teaching, lecturing, or producing music and art, he is usually furthering his education. For most of the past decade, Scott has predominately worked as a freelance consultant, with projects ranging from designing identity packages for small businesses, engineering and producing musicians, licensing and writing music for commercial applications, manipulating photos and design elements (from concept-to-post-production), developing albums and advertising materials, generating web and print content, teaching and lecturing students at the K-12 level, and collaborating with a diverse client roster on a number of creative solutions.

Masson is best known as the singer/songwriter from the band OFFICE, who achieved modest national success during the 2000s. He graduated from Kalamazoo College with a bachelor’s degree in Art and English, and has never stopped taking classes for personal enrichment.

Clients Scott has done work for include (but are not limited to):ABC, Hollister Co., Ambercrombie and Fitch, Gap, H&M, Quack! Media, McDonalds, Chevrolet, MTV, Discovery Channel, New Line Cinema, Scratchie Records, Inspiring Learners, American Friends Service Committee, Kotex, Cadillac, Strive Creative, Jack Daniels, Commonwealth//McCann, Doner, Magic Windows, 1-800-Contacts, Future Perfect Music, Toyota SCION, Johnny Noodle King, Detroit Tigers, and a multitude of musical groups and artists, filmmakers (both Hollywood and indie), and small businesses.

Masson released his newest full-length album “Momentarily Bewitched” in December of 2020, and is currently working on a new album (or two). His entire catalog of recorded music (dating back to his earliest recordings from the early 90s) will all be getting released onto streaming platforms and Bandcamp throughout the next several months. This includes “extended” versions of previously-released albums, OFFICE’s catalog, solo albums, and an archive of unreleased music. Check this website for details as that process unfolds.
